Hi. I am trying to get a PDA that meets my needs. I am considering a HP Palm 1910, but it just has Outlook, Word and Excel. I need a Palm that has a Database that I can set up the way I need it. Does any PDA have a Database software that I can set up my way? John | |

Hi! Thanks for the question. In terms of the Palm VIIx, yes, the HanDBase PalmOS Professional (database software seems fit for your needs. According to the comparison of the technical specifications of the Palm VIIx and the system requirements of the database software, they will be compatible. Technical Specs of the Palm VIIx http://www.aaacamera.com/palm_pilot_viix.html HanDBase PalmOS Professional (database software) http://software.palm.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=291&jid=169XDF7594B8D5EC1D6E5DF53E3C341X&platformId=1&productType=2&productId=660§ionId=3289&catalog=1 I am not sure though of the HP Palm 1910. Are you sure of the model since HP handhelds are more geared towards the Windows CE or Pocket PC Operating Systems. Anyway since any of the two (Palm Pilot VIIx or the HP Palm) will do then the product above will be an answer for your needs. Search terms used: "Palm Pilot VIIX" specifications PDA "database software" I hope these links would help you in your research as well. The Avigo, from Texas Instruments, offered a database application: http://www.ferenzi.com/avigo/avigo01.htm This device is no longer being manufactured, but it is available used. Here's an eBay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3043368843&category=294 |
