Hi. I recently had this problem with my computer as well. This error
message is a symptom of being infected with either the Blaster worm or
Welchia worm. In order to remove these worms, you will need to
download a fix for them. What you should do is download these two
files and then run them one after the other. After you have run them,
you should then patch your system in order to prevent your computer
from being infected again.

First, download the Welchia fix at
http://download.saipan.com/worm/fixes/FixWelch.exe
Just download it and run it and it will remove Welchia if it is on
your computer.

Then, you should download the Blaster fix at
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/FixBlast.exe
Just download it and run it and it will remove Blaster if it is on
your computer.

Then you need to download two patches from microsoft to prevent your
computer from being attacked by the worms again.
Download them and install them:

ftp://nuns.it.northwestern.edu/pub/blaster/Windows2000-KB823980-x86-ENU.exe

is the first patch for preventing welchia and blaster from infecting
your computer again.

And ftp://nuns.it.northwestern.edu/pub/welchia/Q815021_W2K_sp4_x86_EN.EXE
is the other patch to prevent your computer from being infected again.
