How do I program a "macro" with my Motorola V60 phone? Specifically I'd like to call my voicemail from my phonebook and create pauses between the number and my password. I've tried the *P to create a "pause" but it doesn't seem to help. Please advise... |

Hi, I have a Motorola V200, which I'm almost certain uses the same menu system and so on. I had exactly the same question, and the way to get those pauses and so on is to hit the 'menu' key when you're editing the number. It should give you the following options: Insert Pause Insert Wait Insert 'n' The difference between these is that a Pause simply pauses for a second or so, a Wait waits for you to confirm before continuing, and an 'n' prompts you for a number. So to access my voicemail with a single voice command, I programmed: *86pp#123456p1 where *86 is the voicemail number, # goes to the password entry prompt, 123456 is the password, and the final 1 is to listen to new messages. You might need to change the number of pauses depending on your VM system. Hope that helps, Phil |
