Handy,
I spoke with Okidata's phone tech support (1-800-654-3282) and they
claimed that "this product is so old that we don't have the manual
anymore." Based on this and on my other search results (shown below),
I'm going to conclude that this is a very difficult manual to find.
You said that you were trying a Google Search for "okifax 450". If you
search for these two terms separately (i.e. from the main Google
page), you will not get the information you're looking for, but if you
search for the *exact phrase* "okifax 450" from Google's Advanced
Search Page [ ://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en], you may
have better luck. The full page for this search is here:
[ ://www.google.com/search?as_q=&num=100&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&btnG=Google+Search&as_epq=okifax+450&as_oq=&as_eq=&lr=&as_ft=i&as_filetype=&as_qdr=all&as_occt=any&as_dt=i&as_sitesearch=&safe=images

When I performed this search, I found a few pages of interest. Here
are two of them. Note that both of these businesses appear to be
located in Eastern Europe. They claim that they will give you access
to the manual for the okifax 450 for a fee. I have no personal
experience doing business with these people, so I'd recommend that you
engage them in a conversation about the product and what it includes.
They're not asking for large sums of money for this product (only
$10), but please make sure you're comfortable with them before sending
money overseas.
The Okifax 450 manual is listed on line #15 here: [
http://www.electronicsrepair.net/fax8.shtml ].
The following page also claims that it will supply the manual in
return for a "donation" to a specific human rights organization: [
http://www.user-service-manuals.com/oki-service-manuals.htm ].
I'll admit that there is a possibility that both of these sites are
run by the same person, though I haven't been able to confirm that.
I hope that this provides you with the information you need. Please
ask for clarification if needed.
Regards,
