locate the exact source that you might be looking for. The Article
studies the impact of internet for advertising in the EU. BUT it
provides you the figures for annual advertising expenditures of the EU
for last ten or more years. It also outlines the outdoor advertising
expenditures of the EU for last years. There are even more extensive
details.
Note! The solid lines in the graphs donate the expected expenditures
for a certain year and the Bar in the Graph shows the total
expenditure.

Hello leader,
the figures you found are useful, but unfortunately not very recent.
The same figures for 2001 and 2002 would have been perfect. It would
be great if you could give it a try.
The link to the British Library is not so useful, because it leads to
all kinds of information resources about advertising, but not to the
particular information I am looking for.

I want to thank you once again for your patience. I did some research
but couldn’t come out with an exact figure. It seems that the
information is not that easy accessible or it is only accessible
through subscription reports.
I will do more research shortly, In the mean time here are my
findings:
First of all, I want to guide you to a book that reports the world
advertising trends, figures and data from 1991 to 2002 in great
details. It costs $195.

‘European Ad spend forecasts’ on the page (third heading), the report
provides you with the EU’s 2001 spending and spending forecasts for
2002 and 2003 with other related data.

Hello joliette:
It seems that the figures for advertising revenue in Europe keep on
eluding me. I have tried Lexis Nexis and other database but in vain.
Although, you didn’t ask for the online figures but the data for
online internet advertising revenues seem to be everywhere.
