Could you tell me how to obtain a copy of the NY Port Authority
transcripts from 9/11 which were released this week? Thank you.

According to an article in today's Chicago Sun Times the Port
Authority is setting up a password protected web site for victims
families to view the transcripts, there was no decision whether the
general public will also have access.

The news media argued in a lawsuit that the transcripts are a public
record, while the port authority claimed they were not.  A New Jersey
judge, in ordering their release, did not directly rule on that issue.
 She instead said that the port was required to release the transcript
on the basis of an out-of-court settlement, which she said is a
binding contract.  I have not been able to find a copy of that
out-of-court settlement, so I don't know whether it requires the
release of the transcripts of anyone other than the news media. 
However, you (or a Researcher who would like to answer the question)
