I read this book years ago and I now need to find a copy. I did a standard search but Davis is such a common name that I couldn't find it. The book became the basis for a movie of the same name in 1979 starring Cliff Robertson. I need the exact name of the author and a lead,e.g, Amazon as to where I can obtain a used copy. Thanks |

Hi Petegranan~ "The Pilot" by Robert B. Davis is available on Amazon. Amazon has it available new and used from $2.70 and it ships within 2-3 days. You can find it here: - http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/offering/list/-/068802985X/all/ref=dp_bb_a/102-5159491-1865767 Cliff Robertson, a record-holding pilot in his own right, co-wrote the screenplay for the movie with Davis; and Davis was the technical consultant on the movie, which Robertson directed. It's always a pleasure to help someone track down a book. Thanks for affording me the opportunity! Serenata Search terms used: Cliff Robertson filmography Amazon search - Robert P. Davis: The Pilot |
