Hi rtphil,
I was able to find out that Michael Crespo actually authored 5 books,
but that only one is in print at present. This book, Watercolor Class,
can be found at several online stores:
Amazon.com
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0823056597/002-8064660-1919240?v=glance
HamiltonBooks.com
http://www.hamiltonbook.com/hamiltonbook.storefront/EN/product/goto/Product/View/8436746
A review of this book can be found here:
http://www.book-reviews.info/Watercolor_Painting_Book_Reviews/0823056597.shtml
The out-of-print books are:
Experiments in Watercolor
How to Make an Oil Painting
Watercolor Day by Day
Watercolor Class, an Innovative Course in Watercolor
These books can be found, used of course, here:
http://www.bookfinder.com/search/?author=michael+crespo&title=&submit=Begin+Search&new_used=*¤cy=USD&mode=basic&st=sr&ac=qr
If the above link does not work well, go to
www.bookfinder.com/search and enter Michael Crespo in the search
box. (It took almost a minute for these to be indexed, with broadband
internet, so be patient, especially if you use dial-uo)
A short bio on Crespo can be found here:
http://www.mcmurtreygallery.com/artist.asp?artist=Michael%20Crespo
What I could not find was if Michael is even remotely related to Elvis
Crespo, the Merengue King!
Hope this answered your question!
