Question ID: 250858
Many years ago there was a television show of famous persons raising
money for, I believe, Hadassah Hospital in Israel. Barbra Streisand
was on this show along with Golde Meir and others...she sang the
National Anthem of Israel,...THE HATIKVAH....like it's never been sung
before. I want to know if there is a recording of this event in
existence. Thank you very much. Meryl Halpern

Hello Meryl,

I found the name of the show and the air date where Barbra Streisand
sings Hatikvah. Unfortunately the recording of the complete show is
not available on CD.

I located the CD with Barbra Streisand’s performance of Hatikvah along
with her telephone conversation with Golda Meir from this event.

Would this be a suitable answer to your question?

Thanks
