My Dell Dimension runnung windows 98 will not initiate tha Applet on
NOAA weather radar loops. The mwords at lower left of task bar are
"Applet AniS notinited", then "Applet failed." I have reinstalled IE
6 service pkg 2, have installed Java Web Start, run all the standard
Windows Maintenance routines, have run Adaware and recently added
Mechanic Registry [The problem appeared within a day of that
addition]. I uninstalled Mechanic Registry, but that did not bring
back the ability to run thre NOAA applets, and have sinc reinstalled
Mechanic Registry 2.1. The 2.0 version gave me a "run-time
error'380':Invalid Property value message, when trying to use the Mech
Registry configuration button." Registry Mechanic denies thar=t
their progran could cause the failure of the NOAA applet to run.
The answer needs to be step by step. I am not literate in internal
computer language, so please be doubly explicit with the directions.
