Starboard Cruise Services is the major concessionaire for Caribbean
cruise ships and I already knew about them. Triton is international
and Harding is basically an airport concessionaire.

What I need is a list of concessionaires that service the cruise lines
that Starboard doesn't. These cruise lines are: Clipper Cruise Lines,
Commodore Cruise Lines, Crystal Cruises, Seawind Cruise LIne, and
Windjammer Barefoot Cruises, and possibly Silversea Cruises,Majesty
Cruise Line, Dolphin Cruise Line,Premier Cruise Lines, and Renaissance
Cruises.

Can you come up with a list of these concessionaires?

Dear Wofford,

Thank you for your clarification request. I answered your original
question stating that Starboard Cruise Services is the major
concessionaire for Caribbean cruise ships. As a researcher, it is
impossible to know what you may have already seen before unless you
tell us first. I provided the contact information for Triton and
Harding only as additional information.

I did additional research and this is what I discovered.

Commodore Cruise Lines
======================

“Commodore Holdings, Ltd. filed for protection under Chapter 11.
Parent Company for Commodore Cruise Line and Crown Cruise Line Files
for Bankruptcy and Ceases Operations Commodore Holdings Ltd. filed for
protection from creditors under Chapter 11 of U.S. bankruptcy laws in
the hope of reorganizing its operations. Financial problems for
Commodore started earlier in the year when the company refurbished one
of its cruise ships, the Enchanted Sun, and offered gambling day
cruises from California to Mexico.”

“Based in Hollywood, Florida, Commodore operated the Enchanted Capri
and the Enchanted Isle from New Orleans. A third cruise ship, the
Crown Dynasty, sailed to Aruba. This was the second major bankruptcy
this year in a sector dominated by Carnival and Royal Caribbean.
Florida-based Premier Cruises, which operated the Big Red Boat ships,
halted operations in September.”

====================
Premier Cruise Lines
====================

“Premier ceased operations on September 13th, 2000. The cruise line's
banker, investment firm Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), made the
decision to pull the plug after a summer of highly visible mishaps on
a fleet of aging ships that were becoming more expensive to maintain
each passing day as fuel prices increased. The cruise line which
targeted families and first time cruisers looking for bargains faced
unexpected competition from the larger cruise lines this summer who
discounted prices heavily to fill rapidly expanding capacity as a
flood of new ships entered service. DLJ held a first mortgage on most
of the Premier fleet in exchange for a $55 million line of credit
which was extended to the troubled cruise line in 1998. It is expected
that the ships will be put up for sale.”

Wofford,

Doug Bolnick of Clipper Cruise Lines replied to my email inquiry.

He said that their onboard gift shops are staffed, serviced, and owned
entirely by their company. He added that they only sell material that
is produced by Clipper Cruise Line such as apparel and small,
regionally-themed gifts.
