I located two references to older blues songs with "red headed woman"
-

"It's quite appropriate that the CD opens with Little Walter's 1950
recording "Red Headed Woman," for the singer's harmonica solos had a
major impact on many Chicago bluesmen of the 1950s and 1960s."

Perhaps it is Muddy Waters:

"Some of my favorite early Muddy Waters recordings are the ones he did
with Baby Face Leroy Foster on the Parkway label. There is "Red Headed
Woman": "I say looka here, looka here baby, see what you done done,
Done squeezed my lemon, caused my juice to run."
From http://www.livingart.com/raving/articles/housemusic101-29.htm

"One of the hottest numbers is the Chicago stomp, "Red Headed Woman."
It's been covered by a multitude of artists over the years, but this
one is the real deal, folks."
From http://www.bluenight.com/BluesBytes/fk0902.html regarding the CD
"The Hollywood Fats Band"

If the tune is an old blues number, I'll wager that it was the Muddy
Waters "Red Headed Woman" that you heard. That's my guess, anyway,
and I'm going to quit commenting now because I'm getting obsessed with
the search! ;)

It's a long-shot I know, but how about this one:

"I don't want no bald-headed woman
It'll make me mean, yeah lord, it'll make me mean..."

"Bald-Headed Woman"
http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Club/6041/Recordings/Lyrics/IAM-ALM-BHW.htm

The words are traditional, and there are other variations around.
