I am unable to access my web site typing ftp.(site name) using my G3 laptop and internet Explorer 5.1. I get the message 'A connection error occured'. I have no trouble accessing the site from another computer. Any ideas? | |

Here's a random guess: Your Mac is behind a router or firewall of some kind, and you need to enable PASV mode ftp. There should be a checkbox for that in Internet Explorer Advanced options. And, also, don't use Internet Explorer for FTP. ;) Get an FTP client. Sorry, I don't know the name of such a client. See, I don't use google to answer questions on here.
