I just spent several hours looking through microfiche records of the
"Park Record" from 1979-1983, and could find absolutely no
advertisements or articles for Surefoot. I am even looked through the
help-wanted to see if there were any listing for employees. Nothing.
If there are no listings in the local paper, do you have any idea
where those advertisements may have been? I am assuming that the
business was sold, or taken over by new owners who used the old name
without permission. Is that right?

I am willing to look through Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News
archives if you believe there may be advertisements there. Please let
me know. However, unless you are reasonable sure you posted
advertisements in either of those papers, it would be a large task.
Please respond if you are still interested. If I found copies, I could
print them and have you contact a librarian to have them sent to you.

Could you please tell me where you think you might have advertised?
The local paper in Park City is the Park Record. Would you have put
advertisments in there, or in the Salt Lake Tribune?

The ads were on radio, in a paper called the Canyon Times, and Sports
Guide. It if for the periond 1979-1983 only.

I have located one copy of a Surefoot advertisement from May 1983
with the name of Scott Burbanks on the logo. I highly doubt that I
will find any others. As for radio ads, you would have to know the
stations you advertised with, and the station would in turn have to
keep written copy.
It is very important that you tell me if you would be interested in a
copy of this ONE advertisement as an answer to your question. If so, I
will go ahead and post the details along with the arrangement I have
made for third party contact so you can obtain a copy of the
advertisement.
