i have 3 pcs.
they have problems.
1.will boot win 2000 but when it is supposed to load enviroment it
just stares at me with background of my desktop nothing .
2.my wifes system boots too slow.
when it finally loads.
if u click something it takes time to respond.
3.it does just not power.
i am quite good in engineering.
so u cxan tell me anything

For #1 - have you added any new hardware recently?  What are your
other specs? (RAM, Processor, etc.?)

For #2 - What OS and specs?

For #3 - Have you tried replacing the power supply?

1. If the environment is failing to load than it means that
explorer.exe has failed to run. Try pressing control alt delete and
then running a new task called explorer.exe. If this fails it might be
time for a reinstall - to acces your data use something like NTFS dos
if you need this before a reinstall.
2. What OS and speed is this computer. It seems likely that you either
have:
bad drivers
too many loading at startup (use msconfig or an alternative to sort
this out - go to the start menu open the run box and type msconfig
then click ok.
spyware (again loads at startup) use something like adaware to get rid
of it
3. Most likely the power supply as already said. Also, stupid question
but make sure everything is plugged in including the components in the
case. It could potentially be fried from lightning or something like
that.
