Question ID: 252229
Does anyone here have a HP computer with with a version of Internet
Explorer that links to Yahoo’s web properties. For example search,
home page and favorites default to Yahoo services, including premium
services such as Yahoo Extra Storage, that came like that when they
bought it?

Thanks.

Two out of three. I've got the HP (two of them, actually) with IE,
but neither my new laptop nor my older desktop came with a Yahoo
bundle.

Hello Macaonghus,
Might you be referring to Yahoo Companion as the thing you say is bundled with IE?

This is a specific thing only for HP computers, not really Yahoo
companion which is for anyone. It is what pafalafa answered with a no,
and I am wondering if anyone can answer with a yes.

Thank you.

Do you have SBC/Yahoo! DSL as an internet service provider? If you
do, it is probable that you loaded their browser that plasters Yahoo!
over all your applications. It is easily removed.
