Hi there. What was the name of the song and who was the artist, that
played in the background while Mike Tyson walked into the ring? It was
his first fight back, after he was released from prison. I believe he
fought some no name Irish boxer(sorry if I offended any Irish fight
fan, but I never heard from this boxer again). I'm not 100% sure but I
think the fighter's last name was McNally?? Anyways, if someone can
figure out what song that was playing during Tyson's ring entrance,
that would be great, it's been on my mind for over 10 years now. It
definitely was a rap song, perhaps a remix. Please help. Thanks!

The song played during Mike Tyson's entrance to the ring at the
Tyson-McNeeley fight was Redman's "Time 4 Sum Aksion" (the unusual
spelling is Redman's, not mine.)

"In the early morning hours of March 1995, Mike Tyson was released
from an Indiana state prison. The world was buzzing with the news and
thoughts on the future of this former world champion. Wasting little
time, Mike was back in the gym one month later - determined to regain
the crown that had eluded him since 1990. His first bout was against a
little known Irish club fighter by the name of Peter McNeeley."

"Tyson has by far the coolest ring entrances in boxing! What song did
he use for the McNeeley fight?

...Redman "Time 4 some action" That song rules!"

Another reference:

"Time 4 Sum Aksion", by Redman... Tatum chose this song, just like
Tyson did for his first fight after jail."

nailed it. The mp3 clip link helped too, thank you. Great job, not
only did you research it but you backed it up with the links. Again,
