Perhaps you should rephrase your question so that someone can get a
clearer understanding of exactly what it is you are looking for.

Do you have reason to believe that a will exists for this lady that
hasn't yet been submitted to probate court/surrogate court? The court
can not possibly tell you if there is an unprobated estate (an estate
that has NOT been probated), but you can ask them to search their
records to see if there HAS been any estate probated, and you need to
furnish them with whatever her surname was at the time of death (what
was it exactly: Murphy, Wicks or Shinestuhl?). You can call the
OFFICE OF SURROGATE HALL OF RECORDS at (973) 621-4900, fax them at
(973) 621-2654. Good luck with your research--certainly a most
interesting question.
