I need help with information about a girl who was hurt or killed in
Nebraska, Omaha or Lincoln recently in a fall on a mat that did not
work well.
It could have been gymnastics or some mat related sport.
Can you help?

Hi Mike,
Nice to see you again! ... and thank you for the question.
I am not sure if this is it or not, but i found a news report about a
13-year-old girl who died after falling down a grain elevator shaft in
Overton, Nebraska. Though It was not a sports-related accident, the
girl was on the volleyball, softball and basketball teams at school.
The story was published August 10th 2003.
Let me know if you think that's it, otherwise i'll keep looking.
