Question ID: 252613
I need the specs for a Nakamichi Premium Sound System installed in a
1992 Lexus LS400. The only information I need is about the front
speakers. Let me explain.

There are two front midrange speakers and two front tweeters (a total of four
total front speakers). Here is the info I need:
1) How many amps power these speakers?
2) How does the amp regulate power between the midrange and the
tweeter?
3) What is the resistance (Ohm) of the front speakers?

The local Lexus dealer tells me the Nakamichi system uses 4 ohm
speakers -- like many aftermarket speakers. However, he said to be
careful when replacing them as the demand on a "normal" speaker would
be severe. Some type of heavy duty 4" speaker is needed for the
replacment of the door speakers on the LS400s. Sorry, but I don't
know anything else about the Nakamichi system.
