need when this baseball announcer was born?

The "Hall of Fame" page is from a Canadian sports network (Réseau de
Sports), so it should be fairly authoritative. I didn't find any
confirmation, despite looking.

Once I had the birthday, I tried searching with 1940 and also with
Doucet's age (63 OR 62 etc.), but found nothing more.
