Hello, hannalo-ga; I found nothing that says you can't have multiple iDisk accounts; in fact, it is common and there is software to help you manage them (see Additional Links below). I read through the .Mac Terms and Conditions, and found nothing prohibiting you from signing up for multiple accounts. You are not allowed to give false information when you sign up, but it says nothing about not signing up more than once. Here is a link to the terms and conditions: http://www.mac.com/1/membership_terms.html I also read the .Mac FAQ, and it said nothing about multiple accounts: http://www.mac.com/1/mac_faq.html Still, I wasn't conviced that it was possible (even though it seemed to be "legal"), so I searched some more and found some cases of people having multiple iDisk accounts. Check out this newsgroup thread for an example: http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&threadm=stevewjackson-988CAD.15301627042002%40corp.supernews.com&rnum=3&prev=/groups%3Fq%3Dmultiple%2Bidisk%2Baccounts%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8%26selm%3Dstevewjackson-988CAD.15301627042002%2540corp.supernews.com%26rnum%3D3 Additional Links: iDisk Manager 1.0.6 "Disk Manager is a handy tool designed to help users manage multiple iDisk accounts. iDisk Manager can automate the iDisk login process by storing login information. Connecting to an iDisk can be as simple as clicking a button or double clicking a file on the Desktop." http://homepage.mac.com/northernSW/idiskmanager.html Search Strategy: Google Search: idisk ://www.google.com/search?q=idisk Google Search: multiple idisk accounts ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=multiple+idisk+accounts Google Groups Search: multiple idisk accounts http://groups.google.com/groups?q=multiple+idisk+accounts&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en I hope this helps. If you have any questions, feel free to ask for clarification. Best regards, bikerman |
