I am searching for a commencement speech presented at a nursing pin
ceremony or at a graduation. The speech included a quote by John
Burroughs, "I still find each day to short for all the thoughts....".
How could I find this speech?

I have found this quote a lot, but not yet in connection with a
commencement speech. Do you have any idea approximately when or where
the speech occurred, or something about the commencement speaker?

I located this speech back in May (between 5/10/03 through 5/28/03).
I think the speaker was a female. The content in the speech included
other quotes by the person making the speech.
"I urge you to enjoy your family, friends, and take the juice out of
life"
"So prepare your character to face the many changes and differences of
this world"--"I wish you the best of luck and never give up..."

I have used dogpile to search for:
commencement speech
graduation speech
nursing school commencement speech
pinning ceremony
But still no luck. There is a slight chance that it may just be a
graduation speech that contains the statements above.

Do you have any idea where you saw these quotes? Was it in a school
newsletter? Do you have any idea what school?

Also, did you find the quotes using Dogpile in the first place? Or do
you think you were browsing one or more of your favorite sites --
newspaper sites, perhaps -- and saw the quotes there? If you think it
was in one of the sites you like to read, could you list those sites?

The additional quotes are from the speaker (they are part of the
speech) and not from a particular writer or author. It most likely is
a newsletter, for some reason Education or Education today comes to
mind.

There are several periodicals named "Education" and "Education Today".
Could you be more specific as to the ones that you might have been
reading? (Sorry for all the questions, but you never know -- any
information you have might help us to find the answer.)

Sorry I can't remember.
