Hello.
A web site called blackathlete.net indicates that Shaq weighed 7
pounds, 13 ounces at birth. A newspaper report three years ago,
however, claimed 7 pounds, 15 ounces.
sources:
'Although he weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces at birth, he grew
very quickly during the early years. Relatives spoke of how Shaq
gained attention as a baby when he was sitting on the front porch in
his home in Newark. Passersby would stop and stare and comment, "what
a big baby".'

" OK, not everyone. The first man to meet O'Neal was Ralph Stefanelli,
on March 6, 1972, at Columbus Hospital in Newark, N.J. Dr. Stefanelli
delivered baby Shaquille, and he'll tell the truth: "It is impossible
to say" at birth how far a child will go in this world (especially
when that child is a run-of-the-mill 7 pounds, 15 ounces)."
