within the last few years i read an article in a magazine such as (but
not necessarily) ID magazine about a fairly young woman (40s perhaps?)
who made large tapestries. the article included a picture of her in a
studio with a wall that has cubbies for yarn and the yarn was arranged
in a spectral fashion.

if i remember correctly, she apparently used some sort of technology,
since there were example of quite large tapestries (say 20 feet x 15
feet or larger even) that were generated
from jpegs or other digital images. i remember something involving a
large dollar bill but the image is fuzzy in my head.

the prices for her work were fairly high. $20,0000 sticks in my head.

i would like to know the identity ad contact information for this
artist.

I believe you may be referring to Monique Lehman.

Does this look like the woman you saw in the magazine article?

If this is the artist you seek, I'll be glad to gather more
information for you. If this is not your artist, it would be very
helpful if you could recall any additional details.
