zzfast.com recently sent us, by post, a "business opportunity" online.
Price $95. Big bucks in return, act fast, little or no time
committment. All red flag terms in my world. Husband thinks it
sounds great...he always does. Can I get a background check on this
website? Don't want to go to it until I have more info.

There is very little information on the Web regarding Zzfast (which is
rather new.) But before your husband invests any money, it might be
wise for him to examine some material published by the Internet
watchdog site, World Wide Scam Network. This pertains to Zzfast's
parent company, Fast2Net:

"I was also a victim of the fast2net scam which has an article from a
disgruntled punter like myself on your site. I am located in the UK
based in Yorkshire and paid £95 for two sites. I then paid a further
£120 for a guaranteed 1500 clicks on to my site. I placed link banners
on to these sites and also banner exchanges. The number of purchases I
received on my site was nil. Oooops I’ve been taken for a ride.
I just wish I’d heard of worldwidescam.com a little earlier.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I joined this program and I think it's a BIG SCAM....all they pretty
much do it set you up with 2 websites where people can click on links
and purchase things from different merchants that will pay you a
percentage of merchandise bought from your site. You can sign up with
merchants like these for FREE with Commission Junction. And they also
give you a link where other people can sign up for this "wonderful"
opportunity and you make some money off others who sign up. The
websites they give you suck. They don't look attractive and whenever I
tried to go to my site to click on the links I always had problems.
The program costs $95. They give you a 7 day money back guarantee in
which you do not need to state a reason why you don't want to
participate anymore. But you need to fax in a written statement which
means long distance charges. It took me a while to even figure out how
to get my links on my page and 7 days wasn't even enough time to see
if this was a worthwhile venture or not. Another thing they do is say
that they are giving you this great opportunity at a discounted price
and if they receive your order by a certain date (usually about 3 days
from the date you are at the site) then you can get the GREAT price,
but orders received after that may not be given that same "low" price.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think you people should check this company out throughly and try to
shut them down. I joined this company about 3 months ago. I paid
$95.00 to buy 2 websites. I got their gambling site and also got their
adult site.
I knew something was wrong from the start. First they only have a 7
day money back guarantee - that's no guarantee! They just took me off
their admin page for no apparent reason. I never made any money with
them. Sound familiar?

I tried to get my money back but it was to no avail. Then I tried to
get the Louisiana attorney general on them twice. I believe this is
the reason they took me off their list. Basically they took my $95.00.
In my book they are definitely a scam. These people are based in Baton
Rouge La. I also tried to get back with them, they are not answering
me. No surprise.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About 3 years ago I set up a www.fast2net.com website. I picked the
adult website and casino website. Both websites were promoted heavily,
but I never received a dime. When I wrote and called fast2net I never
received a reply. Use my experience as your best judgement."

Here's more on Fast2Net, from British investment advisor Tony
Heatherington:

"A quick surf showed a number of internet businesses are refusing to
take advertisements for Fast2Net sites.

Fast2Net in Britain is an offshoot of Fast2Net Inc in Louisiana. The
local Better Business Bureau in Baton Rouge told me: 'Based on our
files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the bureau due
to a pattern of complaints.

'The complaints allege the inability of the investor to get
instructions and/or technical support to set up their websites, and
delays in getting refunds.'

And in America, by the way, the websites cost $95 (about £61), not
£95.

Here, one of the people behind Fast2Net is Herbert Towning... Finding
Herbert Towning listed as a director of Fast2Net was a real blast from
the past for me... he was active in the US, investing in and speaking
in support of a company called International Heritage. More than
150,000 people joined before it collapsed into bankruptcy.

The watchdog Securities & Exchange Commission says International
Heritage was nothing more than a huge pyramid scheme*, perhaps the
biggest America has ever seen.

To be blunt, Fast2Net's customers may join because they simply want to
sell more Fast2Net sites themselves. Anyone who wants to operate a
site as a genuine business will quickly learn that there is a world of
competition in which they are an almost invisible minnow.

As for signing up today and making huge profits tomorrow, someone pass
me the phone number of the Advertising Standards Authority."

Considering that Zzfast is an offshoot of Fast2net, I urge a great
deal of caution in dealing with this investment offer. While it is
possible that a legitimate company might have a parent company whose
reputation was in question, there is an old saying: "The apple does
not fall far from the tree."
