Hi,

I would like to locate a free or a shareware script in PHP or Perl and
stores data in MySQL as one example of a database I'd prefer and it
needs to be simple, I'm not much for complex toys that don't encourage
their use.

Here are the modules I need covered:

1. Time tracking and billing.
2. Resource management.
3. Issue and bug tracking and workflow for verifications/approvals on
completion.
4. email based notification.
5. Client DB.
6. Project DB.

2. Resource management.
3. Issue and bug tracking and workflow for approvals on completion.
4. email based notification.
5. Client DB.
6. Project DB with specific rates per project (Might wana charge
differently based on complexity perhaps).

Help! :-)

Hi Joseleon,

I logged on to the demo, if I'm not mistaken, time tracking and
billing are not covered in my first point? Or did I miss that?

Hello,

What do you mean exactly by time tracking and billing? I mean, when
you update a task, all the options, including time spent on this task,
are stored on a log. Also, the project has a general budget and
per-task budget.

Regards.

Hi,

Are you referencing the Target Budget field? Do you feel that it
satisfies the billing point?

I would like to cover the ability to bill, billing would probably mean
that the package would pickup a client from the cliend DB and his
projects from the project DB for example and tasks and calculate based
on a rate or fixed amounts added to his bill.

Can you find me something that would cover the first point in my
original list? :-)

Hello, lizardnation:

If that kind of billing it's what you want, I'm sorry, I don't know
any project management software made in PHP+MySQL that has such
feature. In any case, this project it's open source, you can tell the
developers to develop such feature, or even hire some developers to
add such features.

Regards.

Was my question unclear? :-) I want to be fair, lets agree on that
bit and perhaps we'll come to a mutually positive situation. :-)
