Hey There,
I am after some infomation about the market size of the beginner level
microcontroller market. Now, to define this a little better:
By "beginner" this might include education (schools etc ...),
hobbyists, robotic guys, software developers with little electronics
experience etc ...
Geographically, the statistics can be globally, or in particular
countries (Australia ideally, followed by the UK and USA).
By beginner level microcontroller products I am reffering to:
- BASIC stamps etc ... (made by Parallax)
- PICAXE (made my Revolution Education)
- ABC Mini/Maxi boards aka Hotchips (can't remember who makes these)
- And PIC / AVR demo boards / starter kits
I am after infomation that gives me a better idea about the market
size, naturally I don't expect a "the market is this big" (although
that's be lovely).
Other releveant infomation that may also warrant reward includes:
- Infomation about size of the electronic hobbiest market
- Infomation about market share of above products
- Infomation about size of the electronic kit market
Many Thanks,
