I am looking for internet links which might shed light on an
interesting lake management strategy: installing boat washing stations
for boaters to wash boats prior to launching. This would, in theory,
eliminate introduction of potential invasive aquatic plants into
lakes. Lots of issues surrounding this topic: multiple access points,
cost/benefit, etc. But, I'm having a hard time finding examples of
other locales where this may have been tried and summaries of their
results, successes or failures.
