I need to know the penetration rates in America, by industry, of
different business application categories. In other words, what
percentage of American companies have each of the applications listed
below? My guess, for example, is that 75%+ have email, but that only
about 25% have ERP installed. I need this data by industry (ideally
2-digit SIC code, but I'll take whatever I can get): What % of
retailers have SCM, and CRM, % etc.? What % of manufacturers? If
penetration rates vary by company size, I'd like to know that as well.
Surveys, reliable estimates, sales figures, etc. would all be
valuable -- I'm just trying to get a 1st-order picture.

I'm only interested in 'end-user visible' applications like the ones
listed below -- I don't need stats on, for example, linux penetration
by industry.

APPLICATION CATEGORIES (I need as many of these as possible, but it's
OK if the answer is not exhaustive)
- email
- Intranets
- Office productivity (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Groupware (e.g. Notes)
- Externally-oriented Websites
- ERP
- SCM / Supply chain
- CRM
- Procurement
