Hello!
According to a study recently published in the Journal of the American
Dental Association, use of carbamide peroxide solution for tooth
whitening is as safe as using plain hydrogen peroxide.
The study notes that patients were asked to report any signs of gum or
tooth sensitivity throughout the trial, and that the authors found no
significant differences between the two groups.
A clinical evaluation of carbamide peroxide and hydrogen peroxide
whitening agents during daytime use.

NatureWhite does have FDA approval, so it can be assumed that the
product is safe to use, as long as it is used in accordance with the
package instructions.
Hope that helps!
