I have been unable to locate any references to a 19th century novelist
by the name of "Lawrence Learner." Are you certain of the name? There
is a contemporary author named Laurence Lerner who wrote a book
entitled "Angels and Absences: Child Deaths in the Nineteenth
Century."

Can you tell us which characteristics of 19th century novels you're
most interested in? "Characteristics" is a very broad word, and it
would be helpful if you could narrow the subject down so that a
Researcher will have a better understanding of what you need.
