Please give a little bit more information. When and where did he die?
Can you tell us what you already know? The more background information

I am looking for articles and reports from news and/or police sources
in the State of Oregon pertaining to an automobile accident that
claimed the life of my father on a State highway, somewhere in
southern Oregon, in the vicinity of Medford, Grants Pass, or highway
between or near one of them. I came across the existance of such an
article, accidently, while on another search engine, (may have been
Amazon,)went to the link provided but, there were no functions I could
find at the site that allowed me to find the particular article,
(least not that I could find.) My fathers name was Richard L. Dufer
and, reportedly, he died in a crash in the middle of last week, on or
about Weds., Sept. 3rd, 2003. I hope this helps. Dad lived in Grants
Pass, OR .

I found some information at http://www.oregonnews.com and entering
Dufer in the search box. In case the page has been taken down already,
I copied and pasted the info for you (and I am very sorry about the
loss of your father):

Hwy. 230 rollover kills Grants Pass man
UNION CREEK - A rollover accident on Highway 230 north of Union Creek
Wednesday killed a Grants Pass man who was traveling west near
Milepost 8.5.

Richard Lee Dufer, 70, was driving a 1979 Chevrolet pickup just inside
Douglas County west of Crater Lake when he lost control on a curve and
crossed over the center line into the opposing lane of traffic,
according to an Oregon State Police press release.

The pickup hit an embankment and rolled several times, ejecting Dufer.
He was declared dead at the scene by emergency crews.
