I know that one couldn't necessarily give an "official" estimate
without a visual inspection, but I was wondering if anybody would be
able to give me an approximate value of my Wellington Piano.

The only serial number I have been able to find was located inside the
piano, on one of the keys. That is 25 7778-39 (written in green). If
that is in fact not the serial number, sorry about that, please just
let me know where to find it and I'll get it to you right away. I
believe it was made around 1971, although it could have been earlier
than that.

The piano is in excellent physical condition.. there are virtually no
scratches, nicks, or anything of the kind.

I really appreciate your help!

Would you like links to some online appraisal services?

I've already found a few places that offer online appraisals, but all
of the ones I've found cost money. I'm really just looking for a
ballpark.. maybe even examples of other Wellingtons "for sale" would
do. I know that it wouldn't be a solid indication of what the person
was actually paid for their piano, but that would be a good enough
estimate.

Thanks for your clarification. You are absolutely correct about the
need for a visual assessment. Since you also agree to base your own
assessment from Wellington pianos for sale, would you like me to
proceed on giving you at least 20 links to online ads about this piano
for sale? You could get more ideas about the value of your own piano
by contacting the sellers.
