Hello dbalbert-ga,
After I saw mvguys discovery of the Breath Palette I was totally
fascinated and determined to find a source for it (or something like
it) available in the US. Alas, no success! But the process was so much
fun and gave me so many interesting links that I thought you might as
well enjoy it too. Maybe it will give sufficient information to help
another researcher find the elusive chocolate toothpaste.
I started out by searching for <toothpaste flavors> and came up with a
very funny site from Halfbakery for More Flavors of Toothpaste. The
comments are amusing and the rest of the toothpaste related topics
could give your daughter further ideas about alternative toothpaste
experiences.

More Flavors of Toothpaste
Exploring toothpaste flavors also led me to the idea of making your
own chocolate flavored toothpaste when I came up with a site for
homemade toothpaste. They seemed more interested in standard flavors
but I followed through with looking for vendors of custom flavors.

comprehensive and continuously growing library of Certified Organic

Researching the flavor and aroma industry I came across a lot of
information about the art and science of toothpaste flavors but still
had no luck on tracking down chocolate toothpaste. I did come across
some other amazing flavors that might tempt your daughter. The peanut
flavor toothpaste for cats and dogs was intriguing too.

Food Product Design: Getting a Reaction
Physico-chemical reactions involving flavor components -- whether
between flavors, or between flavors and nonflavor components of food
and the environment -- are loosely termed "flavor interactions." These
interactions influence the quality, quantity, stability and the
ultimate perception of flavor in food. Flavor is primarily a
combination of taste and odor, and along with appearance and texture,
comprises the criteria for sensory acceptance of foods.

Dental Products for Dogs
Toothpaste comes in a variety of pet-pleasing flavors. For dogs, there
is beef, chicken and even peanut flavors.

These days, pet toothpaste comes in so many lip-smacking flavors that
few dogs and cats will turn up their noses at it. "Use whatever flavor
you think your pet will like, based on what he likes to eat,"
Many
pets like beef- and poultry-flavored pastes. Others prefer malt.
If
your pet doesn't seem to like any of the toothpaste flavors, try
adding a bit of garlic powder to lukewarm water and use that to
moisten the brush. "I think all dogs and cats must be part Italian,
because they all seem to love garlic," says Dr. Emily.
I finally conceded defeat and decided to pursue the Breath Palette.
The only English page referring to it seem to be in a blog. Based on
the information I found there, I tracked down the address for the
Margaret Josefin, the Japanese manufacturer. The search for Breath
Palette results in lots of links that look like either fashion
shopping sites or personal blogs. This product seems to be creating
quite a buzz. Since toothpaste manufacturers seem to be dedicated to
finding new approaches to stand out from the crowd, well probably
have chocolate flavor toothpaste soon.

The Breath Palette: Toothpaste for Every Meal
Hiroshi Watanabe writes that Margaret Josefin, a Japanese manufacturer
of cosmetic and heath care products, released in November a new type
of toothpaste experience called Breath Palette. You can get the 31
flavors kit for about $58. Or, if your palette has limits, buy the kit
with 7 flavors (a steal at $14). Favorite flavors include Coke,
Chocolate, Curry, Vanilla, and Green Tea. And he sent a photo. Nice
packaging! Currently only being sold in upscale stores, Breath Palette
is doing very well. Hiroshi has some ideas for additional flavors:
"Why not use 'soothing flavors' before going to bed or 'extreme
stimulating brain flavors' to wake your sleepy head in the morning or
'dessert flavors' for when you want to lose weight and still have
dessert."

Im sorry I wasnt able to find what you were looking for, but it was
a fun journey. As you can see, some of us researchers can get carried
away by the hunt. Good luck on motivating your daughter to keep on
brushing.
