Hello, Sue, Can you confirm your settings for us. In Control Panel >> Display >> Screen Saver, which screen saver are you trying to use, what delay have you set, What do you get when you ask for a preview? What about the monitor power options, what settings there? Best, r2l |

Hi mrfony, Try turning off all power management options. Make sure the Inactivity Timer (under Power in Setup) is turned off. Do you have the Silitek SK-6000E keyboard? If you do, you need to install Toutch Manager to activate the screensaver. If it's still not working, read this post at the Dell forum: http://delltalk.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=sw_winxp&message.id=30632&highlight=screensaver+won%27t+activate+xp#M30632 Good luck, hummer |

Hello, The delay time is set for 10 Min. It doesn't matter what screen saver I choose none will work. Most will give a preview some like the 3D Fish will not, In power MGT everything is set to never and the screen saver still wont work any ides? |

It's possible that OpenGL or your video drivers are damaged or not working correctly, which is what is used to activate the screen saver and draw your screen saver graphics. Try checking for updates for your video card or re-install them, and re-install OpenGL Chris |
