Dear imager-ga;
Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to answer your interesting
question. This procedure is relatively simple even if youve never
done it before.
As a 1994 Cherokee owner myself, I am providing you with the precise
instructions directly from the CHILTONS JEEP

lbs. (41 Nm).

Thats all there is to it. I highly recommend you buy one of these
manuals. I am the original owner of my Jeep and havent really had a
lot of problems since I bought it new in 1994. When I did have a
problem though Ive saved myself bundles of the years by investing in
the Chiltons Manual and because Im not real mechanically inclined
when it comes to automobiles the pictures and diagrams of the actual
work in progress help out tremendously. They dont cost a great deal
and take my word for it, you WILL be glad you bought one. In fact, my
wake-up call happened when I had a sensor go out on my transmission
and my mechanic wanted $240 to fix it. I am too cheap to pay that kind
of fee, so I bought the manual (for about $12 at that time) and bought
the sensor I needed (for $23) at the same parts house (AutoZone) and
installed it myself in my backyard in under 20 minutes and I didnt
even know the sensor existed before that day. Needless to say my
manual has paid for itself many, many times over. If I can do this job
you can do it too
go for it - I have faith in you!
Here you can see and purchase the very same book I am using to help
you with:

You can usually buy the manual off the shelf in your hometown too at
parts places like AutoZone, Pep Boys, Wal Mart (sometimes) or if
youre lucky you might even find it in you local library.
I hope you find that that my research exceeds your expectations. If
you have any questions about my research please post a clarification
request prior to rating the answer. The manual doesnt say anything
more than what Ive offered here and of course I have no way of
getting the pictures to you, but really, I think with what Ive given
you here you should be able to do this job successfully. I welcome
your rating and your final comments and I look forward to working with
you again in the near future. Thank you for bringing your question to
us.
Best regards;
