Hello Jhabley,

According to the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association
there are currently over 15 million mobile devices in use in Canada.

Below I am providing references and short excerpts where you may
verify that this is the correct information.

Wireless Facts (CWTA) - March 2003

“Canadians currently use more than 15 million wireless devices on a
daily basis, including 12 million wireless phones, more than 1.8
million pagers, 1 million mobile radios and 10,000 mobile satellite
phones.”

The Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association (CWTA) is the
authority on wireless issues, developments and trends in Canada and it
represents cellular, PCS, messaging, mobile radio, fixed wireless and
mobile satellite carriers as well as companies that develop and
produce products and services for the industry.
