I have a Lexmark Optra 1855 Laser Printer and it displays two rows of diamonds when it starts up. This happened after the printer was unexpectedly unplugged, and seems to happen even after it is power cycled, even if I wait several hours before turning it back on. There is some information about the problem listed at: http://support.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/knowledgebase.cgi?ccs=229:1:0:170:0:0&emeaframe=&docid=ENUS6840 I am wondering if there are any most steps that I can take to resolve the issue myself, rather than bring it to a repair person. |

Unplug some of the memory? These things are cheap on ebay anyway -- probably costs less to replace than repair. |
