Computer has 1GB memory. The data size is 64GB.There are 16,384
cylinders, each cylinder contains 24 surfaces. Each track contains
1MB. Each teack has 210 sectors(210 bytes per sectors. Each block/page
contains 4 sectors. In reading "consecutive sectors", the r/w head has
to skip one sector.
read/write head movements: To move the head assembly between cylinders
takes one ms to start and stop, plus one additional ms for every 210
sectors
The average seek time is 8 ms, average latency is 8 ms.
