Hi There !

Of the 100 biggest life insurance companies in America (by dollars,
not by policies or members), which are considered to be "best"?

I need a list of the Top 20 companies as determined by a third-party
service, like A.M. Best, Moody's, Consumer Reports, etc. I'm not
picky about the third party, as long as they have no vested interest
in the ratings.

I would assume companies like Mutual of Omaha, The Hartford, etc.
might appear due to their financial stability and longstanding
history. But the Top 20 list should not include Joe's Insurance, no
matter how good the customer service.
:-)

A 5-star answer would be a list of these Top 20 "rock solid"
companies.

No extensive documentation needed. Just the names of the companies.

Thanks!
ron
