Some applications write text or other images over the desktop/other applications and still render properly when apps below them are rendering. For example, the volume control on a keyboard may display something like "+12 |||||||||" in green while the volume is being changed. Similarly, with .NET/GDI+/Winforms you can set an Opacity property which makes the entire application transparent to whatever degree you desire so that apps underneath can still be seen, again even if the transparent application and those underneath are changing. How can I accomplish these techniques in a non-.net win32 application? (GDI+ runs over windows/GDI, so I'd think it would be possible.) Where is there example code? | |
