Where can I purchase the piano score (printed music) to "A Tribute to
Romberg," a choral arrangement by Douglas MacLean, ASAP (by September
24 if
possible)? The music is out of print. I got the choral part from
Rejoice, but they did not have the piano part. The publisher is
Harms, Inc., and the serial no. for the piano score is 5-H2074. ONLY
the PIANO score, with or without chorus, NOT orchestra parts. Please
be sure this piano score is available for IMMEDIATE PURCHASE. Thanks.

I've located a public library that has a copy of the piano score. The
library also has a photocopying service that will duplicate library
materials for a fee. They could probably provide you with a
photocopy of this material.

Would information about this library be acceptable to you as an
answer?

Yes, but having the library information will be acceptable ONLY if
they will DEFINITELY photocopy and send the piano score within a week
of contacing them. If they will not guarantee this, I will withdraw
the question. Thank you.

THIS IS A REVISION TO MY PREVIOUS CLARIFICATION:

Having the library information will be acceptable only if they will
agree to photocopy and send the piano score (for whatever fee they
charge). If they will not guarantee this, I will withdraw the
question. [NOTICE THAT I NO LONGER REQUIRE "WITHIN A WEEK OF
CONTACTING THEM." THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT.]

Hello.

The library that has the item is the Cleveland Public Library

Type "tribute to romberg" in the search box of their catalog:
http://catalog.clevnet.org/web2/tramp2.exe/log_in/guest?SETTING_KEY=CLEVNET

Here is the entry for the piano-vocal score:

melodies from the operettas, arr. and adapted by Douglas MacLean
[pseud.]
Publisher : New York, Harms, c1950.

# Notes : Caption title.
# Piano-vocal score: SATB.

http://catalog.clevnet.org/web2/tramp2.exe/log_in/guest?SETTING_KEY=CLEVNET

I called the photoduplication department at 216-623-2901 and spoke to
a nice lady named Debby. She indicated that the library will indeed
photocopy the score for you. It will cost around $15. MasterCard/Visa
accepted.

All you need to do is call them at 216-623-2901 and tell them you want
"A Tribute to Romberg" (Library Database # BDM-5270)

Additional contact information for the Cleveland Public Library's
photoduplication department at:

search strategy:
"by Douglas MacLean" music
brought up an expired page on cpl.org, and I went from there.

I hope this helps. Enjoy the score!
