His present whereabouts are unknown. He was last seen in early April
when he returned to Bagdad from a meeting in Cairo. The latest
speculation I can find as to his whereabouts occur in May and July
when it was alleged he was in Austria.
Arab Times Kuwait May 12
"Foreign Minister of the toppled Iraqi regime, Naji Sabri Al-Hadithi,
stole a sum of $15 million from the Foreign Ministry's treasury,
before the fall of Baghdad, smuggling it with him abroad, said the
Austrian Der Standard newspaper. In its issue today, the newspaper
quoted the Foreign Ministry's workers in Baghdad, as saying that the
sum confiscated by Al-Hadithi was transported abroad on April 7,
before the US entered Baghdad.
Al-Hadithi might currently be with his friend, the far-rightist leader
Joerg Haider, in southern Austria, said the newspaper."

The following quotes attributed to him
H"e [Bush] should depart. He should go away from the presidency and
let the Americans lead an ordinary life with other nations, not a life
of aggression, a policy of aggression against other nations. This
policy has brought about disasters to the U.S. So for the U.S. to live
properly with the world and for the world nations to live in peace,
this crazy man should go."
