Hi nancyannmarie!!

Well, the short answer to your question is yes, you can sync your
Samsung SPH I300 with a Mac computer with OS X.

Follows to answer how you can do that:

You can read at the SPH I300's manual the following (pay special
attention to the NOTE):
"Macintosh System Requirements for the Palm Desktop
Software
Any Palm™ handheld and HotSync® cradle
Apple Macintosh or compatible with a Power PC processor
 Mac OS 7.5.3 or later
One open serial (printer/modem) port (USB-equipped
computers, such as the Apple iMac, require the Palm
Connect USB adapter.)
 -----------------------------------
NOTE: You can connect your phone to a Macintosh using the PalmConnect®
Serial Kit or PalmConnect USB kit (sold separately).
------------------------------------
Macintosh Serial Adapter (included with original Palm
MacPac kit, or available for purchase)
20 MB free hard drive space
 6 MB free RAM"
(The complete manual is a heavy document, about 3.4 Mb)

At this point you know what you need to connect your I300 to your Mac:
a Serial to USB adapter compatible with the phone.

Your options:
-PalmConnect USB adapter -

This phone can be connected with Palm Desktop for the Mac (including
Palm Desktop 4.0 for MacOS X). The cradle for this phone is serial
which means that you will need to get the PalmConnect USB adapter to
use it with a Mac computer.

Hi again!!

A little clarification.
The Keyspan USB PDA Adapter appears in its page as a 'No longer in
retail distribution' product. You can also purchase an upgraded
product that also works on this task:
"Keyspan "High Speed" USB Serial Adapter" (just click the Buy Now
buton):
