Wow, it sounds like you have a lot on your plate! Could you please
give us more specifics on what you're looking for? For example, how
many lesson plans do you need? What should each lesson plan have? What
are the requirements and expectations of your employer with regards to
the lessons? What do you want in your newsletter? When you say "best
book," what does that mean? Anything more you could tell us would
greatly help. Thank you!

Hi Sandy6025,

The ERIC clearinghouse has some wonderful resources for educators on
its AskERIC website. Here are the sections for PE and Health:

http://www.askeric.org/cgi-bin/res.cgi/Subjects/Physical_Education

http://www.askeric.org/cgi-bin/res.cgi/Subjects/Health

Are these the types of resources you need? They include links to
lesson plans, internet sites, and organizations, all made for K-12
teachers. Let me know if this is on the right track for you and I'll
keep looking for additional resources.

First i need to write up a curriculum for the entire year for phys.ed
gr.k-8!
The news letter to parents is probably all PR for the school but I
would guess in theory it's to keep parents updated re: what their kids
do in gym/health and what are the benefits or objectives for the
lessons they do. For example what physical, mental, goodsportsmanship
qualities do they learn, etc.,etc.,? (HELP!)Re: leson plans I need a
schedule of who I take and when as well as what the lesson is,
describe it, explain the objective(s) of what I will do and how I will
do it. I suppose it should all follow a theme or direction. Basically
I really need a format for a newsletter to parents, or some examples
of some of the things that go in them,& maybe examples of a curriculum
that other teachers have written. One of the eric sites you suggested
listed a price of $99.00. Is that for real?

Hi there -

I'm sorry but I'm not able at this time to keep working on this
question, just wanted to leave a comment (and bump it to the top of
the list) so other researchers can take a crack.

As far as the fee for the ERIC page, I didn't see that - sorry! I
thought everything in there was free.
