Obviously, fuel prices change, and external events (embargoes,
wars, political instability, terrorism) can impact travel costs,
but can someone give me a dead of winter itinerary - NY to
someplace warm.
Here are the parameters:
Cost: Up to $500 for transport and accomodations for 3-4 days.
I'm self-employed so the whole weekend/weekday thing is irrelevant.
Location: Anywhere, as long as it's in a safe area and genuinely warm
in winter. FLA is OK.
Times: Dec - March
I'm not asking you to be my travel agent or to book anything,
but $500 is about all I can handle, but I need to plan
a winter escape of some sort or I'll go friggin crazy
- I just know it.

Hello pcventures-ga,

I have a great spot for you but I wanted to ask if you would rather
drive or if you're looking for trasnport such as a plane or train?
Also does the 3-4 days include the transport time?

Thanks! I'm looking forward to suggesting a place for you.

Flying is OK - I love Greyhound and Amtrak, but those would eat up
too much transit time.
