You found a reference to that in what part of your registry? One of
the auto-start keys? (run, runonce, etc.)

I don't know what it is, but, if it's in one of the auto-start keys..
Well, use msconfig to disable it. .. And see if anything breaks. =)

Also, you could locate the "NoTreat" executable on the hard drive, and
investigate that...

Hope this helps.

(If you do need to 'investigate' the exe, this might help:

It's a tool that will collect and display all the human-readable
strings in a binary file. (Or any file, for that matter.))

NoTreat only exists in the registry. It's located at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NoTreat.

The strigs are:
(DEFAULT) REG_SZ (VALUE NOT SET)
NumGus REG_SZ 6C5E66CD9DAAB6048F6F0BA07233D10ACCF3

Does this help?

Thanks

I tested NoTreat and found that because it is near Netscape it slows
down Netscape start. When I removed NoTreat, Netscape came on line
quick, with it long wait.

It would solve my question too if you could give a good answer. I
tried removing it , it replaced it. I thought to remove would improve
Netscape, sometimes it did other times no effect. It was quicker to
just add quick launch, and NoTreat was still there, I saw a few place
on the Internet this might be it, Code Variable: NoTreat,
