So here is the $200 question:

What are the sales by distribution channel for Cell Phones, Business
Phones, and Office Headsets in North America and in Europe (EU)?

I am defining “channel” in terms of things like Retail, Integrator, 
Reseller, Direct  and so on.  Please further break down retail into
sub-channels like Consumer Electronics, Office Superstores, and
Wireless carriers (a must for the cell phone piece).

Office Telephones will usually have at least two lines or connect to a
PBX and Office Headsets are able to connect to office phones.

If you cannot find this information for North America, the U.S. alone
will suffice.  For Europe I need the information broken down by
country if possible. If you cannot find info for every country I would
at least like France, Germany and the U.K.

I am trying to understand where consumers purchase these items, for
example what percent of people in North America buy a cell phone from
a CE retailer (like Best Buy, Media Markt, ect.) as opposed to going
to a wireless carrier store (like Verizon, Sprint, ect.) for the
purchase.

Noting the age of this posting, I'm curious to know if any data was
found. I am searching for a similar study of cell phone distribution
channels.
