I am receiving a lot of "SPAM", at the bottom of many of the messages
the unsubscribe link points to a website called dotcomofficial.com.
Is this a reputable site where if I unsubscribe I will not get spammed
even more?

Hi Chuckles ~

One of the oldest tricks in the book is to get you to unsubscribe from
spam by clicking on that link that says "unsubscribe" - by clicking on
it, you confirm that that email address is a valid address.

But for the sake of argument, let's take a look at the dotcomofficial
site and see who owns the domain.

So far as I can see, all that's there is a couple of "unsubscribe"
forms. There are no links, no text explaining what the site is about,
no links to other pages, etc. All that's there is a place to put in a
valid email address, not even to say *where* the spam may be coming
from.

A check of Arin Whois shows:

Registrant:
   Romanceinabottle (XQHACTKWYD)
   7491 N. Federal Hwy., C-5,ste#996
   Boca Raton, FL 33487
   US

   Domain Name: DOTCOMOFFICIAL.COM

   Administrative Contact:
      Trevino, Don (35250323I)
      7491 N. Federal Hwy., C-5,ste#996
      Boca Raton, FL 33487
      US

That "Romance In A Bottle" would make me a bit skeptical, but maybe
I'm just being cynical.

However, here's a site about using that 'unsubscribe' form and how
fast that "good" email address got passed around to other spammers:

A good rule of thumb is always if you didn’t have to subscribe to get
it, there is little chance that unsubscribing will get rid of spam.
I'd say that especially holds true here.

Search terms:
  unsubscribe + spam

Hope this helps,

Howdy chuckles777,

Depending on your email program, you might be able to create a
filter so that any email that contains "dotcomofficial.com" gets
automatically deleted. These would be one way to deal with this
specific email without going the "unsubscribe" route.

Looking Forward, denco-ga
